On April 1, 2017, the Westchester Knicks wrapped up their third (and final) season in the NBA D-League. The Knicks finished the season in third place in the Atlantic Division with a 19-31 record. Despite missing out on the playoffs, Westchester had a season to remember and had many great moments in the process.
Over the course of the 2016-17 season, the Westchester Knicks had several back-and-forth games against the Delaware 87ers and Santa Cruz Warriors. Kevin Capers and Greensboro Swarm, and former 87ers guard, Cat Barber traded baskets in Westchester’s match-up against Delaware on ESPNU.
