During the team’s inaugural season, the Westchester Knicks faced many struggles. The Knicks went 5-5 in their first 10 games, which included a three-game winning streak. After that, things started to trend downwards following their 99-98 win over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Victories were hard to come by. The team went through multiple seven-plus game losing streaks. Ultimately, the Knicks recorded five more wins after starting off 5-5. Despite the losses, several members of the 2014-15 Westchester Knicks squad recorded some impressive records that stand to this day.
On Mar. 12, 2015, Doron Lamb totaled a franchise-record 40 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field, 4-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc, and a perfect 12-of-12 shooting from the charity stripe.
