The Westchester Knicks live to fight another day. The G League playoffs are single elimination until the best-of-three finals. In their first do-or-die game, the Knicks were able to cruise to victory against the outmatched Windy City Bulls, 95-82.
Westchester surged out to a 26-12 lead after the first quarter. The Bulls battled in the second and third quarters, but the Knicks slammed the door in the fourth quarter.
Neither team stacked the roster for this one. Only one player on a two-way contract played on Thursday—Isaiah Hicks of Westchester. The Knicks assigned Luke Kornet to Westchester to have him on the roster, but Kadeem Allen did not participate.
