Weary Knicks get hit with a familiar storm: Linsanity

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Knicks got hit by a storm Saturday night — but this one wasn’t called Jonas. You may have heard of it: Linsanity.

With Carmelo Anthony off his game and sitting out the fourth quarter with either a sore left knee or a sore ego, Hornets guard Jeremy Lin continued to shine in his games against the Knicks. This time, he racked up 26 points, hitting 7-of-16 shots from the floor and all 10 of his free throws as the Hornets won, 97-84 at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Anthony, who never jelled with Lin when they were teammates, sat out the fourth quarter with a blue towel over his head after not showing much life in the second night of a back-to-back.
