Facing off against the D-League Eastern Conference cellar-dwelling Erie BayHawks (13-32) Sunday afternoon was just what the Westchester Knicks (18-26) needed to get back-to-back wins for the first time since mid-December. That’s right — Westchester just became the first Knicks affiliate to win back-to-back games in the year 2017. It’s damn near April already.
Getting a few players back from the injury list also helped the W-Knicks, who had enough fire power to defeat Erie, the Orlando Magic affiliate, by the score of 116-104. The win was not a walk in the park, and Erie kept it close all the way up to the end of the game.
