OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Golden State Warriors easily dispatched the New York Knicks, turning a supposed competition into a passing clinic.
The Warriors first 36 field goals were all assisted, until guard Ian Clark snapped the streak with a baseline drive and bucket. In moving the ball so effortlessly, Golden State brought New York’s dearth of talent -- Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose were both out Thursday night -- into stark relief, while having a good time throughout the 103-90 win.
The evening began with Steve Kerr’s moving Craig Sager tribute.
