The New York Knicks have named Tyler Murray as the team’s new radio play-by-play announcer, MSG Network announced. Murray, a lifelong Knicks fan, will take over a prestigious role filled by some of the NBA’s most iconic voices, including Marv Albert and Mike Breen.
Murray is a seasoned sports announcer with a wealth of play-by-play experience who has built an impressive career that spans Major League Baseball (MLB), college sports, and now the NBA.
Originally from Connecticut and raised in Massachusetts, Murray serves as the lead broadcaster for the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox and contributes to the WEEI Red Sox Radio Network.
