Wizards coach Scott Brooks seemed regretful ex-Knick Ron Baker wasn’t in London.
Baker signed with the Wizards last month after the Knicks released the undrafted Wichita State guard to make room for Allonzo Trier’s NBA contract. Brooks, like Baker, was a frenetic defender after going undrafted and wound up as a Knicks backup in 1996-97.
Baker played four games for the Wizards and didn’t score before being waived nine days ago. But Brooks intimated Baker could make a Washington return and did not rule him out one day rejoining the Knicks next season as long as president Steve Mills is in charge.
