We all know by now that the Turkish government would love to get their hands on New York Knicks’ center Enes Kanter given the fact that he’s been so outspoken against their current president.
Kanter went as far as to call Erdogan the Hitler of our century after being detained in a Romanian airport in 2017. His passport was then revoked.
News came out this week that Turkey would like to extradite Kanter because they believe he’s a part of a terror group.
Kanter responded on Twitter to the reports.
Kanter is safe as long as he stays in the United States, which is why he decided not to travel with the Knicks for their game in London against the Washington Wizards.
