The time has finally come. Undrafted Arizona product, Allonzo Trier, signed a 2 year, 7 million NBA contract to remain with the New York Knicks. Trier who has quickly became a fan favorite in New York finally inks an real NBA contract. He was on a 45-day two-way G-league contract after the Knicks signed him as a undrafted free agent.
Trier entered the draft despite testing positve for PED’s while at Arizona. All 32 teams, including the Knicks, passed on Trier, twice, which gave him a chip on his shoulder coming into this season. Trier wanted to prove that he has the ability to compete in the NBA and he did just that.
