The New York Knicks ended up signing point guard Trey Burke prior to the start of the regular season. He wasn’t able to make their final roster, so he was signed by their G League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks.
The 24 year-old Burke was the 9th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, but hasn’t met expectations after spending time with the Utah Jazz and the Washington Wizards.
Burke has a chance to resurrect his career in the G League and he’s clearly working his tail off after he went off for Westchester while scoring a club record 43 points on Monday night.
