The New York Knicks could use additional scoring punch from the wing, and they reportedly will add some Monday in the form of former Philadelphia 76ers guard Tony Wroten.
Shams Charania of The Vertical and ESPNNewYork.com's Ian Begley reported the Knicks were finalizing an agreement with Wroten, which Charania noted is expected to be a three-year contract. Frank Isola of the New York Daily News first reported on March 1 the Knicks met with Wroten.
Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports noted the 76ers released Wroten on Christmas Eve “to make room for acquired guard Ish Smith.
