Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. will return to the court on Friday after a 20-game absence due to a left leg injury.
Hardaway Jr. will come off of the bench in the Knicks' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Head coach Jeff Hornacek has said that he'd like Hardaway Jr. to work on his conditioning before he returns to the starting lineup. The shooting guard hasn't played since Nov. 29 due to a stress injury in his left leg.
New York (18-21) has struggled without Hardaway Jr., going 8-12. The club has lost nine of its last 12 and has missed the pressure Hardaway Jr.
