Though the Knicks were largely ignored in the dozens of categories of the NBA GM survey, rookie Kevin Knox and Kristaps Porzingis got some props.
Porzingis was voted second in “Best International Player” with 10 percent of the vote — with first-place Giannis Antetokounmpo garnering 73 percent.
Porzingis did not receive a single vote in any other category, perhaps because of his uncertain return from ACL surgery.
Meanwhile, Knox fared stronger in August’s Rookie Survey, in which his peers voted, but he still received some recognition by the GMs.
In Rookie of the Year projections by GMs, Knox did not make the top four and wound up in “Also receiving votes.
