Last week the NBA announced that players could start practicing at team facilities. Knicks fans rejoiced, and hoped that their favorite players would start flocking to Westchester to begin working out under the watchful eye of the new coaching staff.
And yet, these are still the Knicks, and this is still the year 2020, so you just knew there was going to be some bullshit waiting around the corner. Said bullshit arrived Tuesday night in the form of an official statement from the team’s PR Twitter account.
Three staff members at the Westchester facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
