The New York Knicks have decided to invite point guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes to training camp, according to the website of the undrafted rookie’s alma mater, Florida State University.
Rathan-Mayes averaged 6.0 points, 3.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and one steal in four games in Orlando. The highlight of his Summer League campaign (by far!) was the first game, when he came off the bench in place of a clearly shook Chasson Randle and dropped 11 points and five assists against the Mavericks.
But his Summer League performance was pretty much all downhill from there.
