The Knicks’ draft picks are going in different directions

LOS ANGELES — The surge by rookie center Mitchell Robinson continued amid the wreckage of the Knicks’ 128-107 loss to the Clippers on Sunday.

Keying their second-half rally, Robinson mounted 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting with 13 rebounds and four blocks. He had one emphatic block on Clippers young stud Montrezl Harrell at the rim that had the bevy of Knicks fans at Staples Center roaring.

“I thought Mitchell was one of the highlights of this game,’’ Knicks coach David Fizdale said. “He continues to protect us and cover up for us and have amazing blocks and defensive possessions.
