The SummerKnicks closed their Summer League schedule, and boy did they go out with a bang.
It was noted on the broadcast (to which Channing Frye, who was the color commentator for the game, was audibly shocked by) that the Knicks have never made 20 threes in a game in franchise history. They made 21 in this Summer League game, beating the Hawks 104-85.
Quentin Grimes was the most impressive 3-baller on the Knicks, canning his first three attempts on his way to a personal 9-0 run to open the game. He finished with 26 points, six rebounds, and three assists, shooting 10-17 from the field and 6-12 from deep.
