Steve Mills doesn’t rule out Kristaps Porzingis from playing this season

On Friday, the New York Knicks released a medical update on star forward Kristaps Porzingis as he continues to recover from a torn ACL.

The update states that Porzingis’ knee is “healing well” and that he will be re-evaluated in February, which will mark one year since he tore his ACL.

During an interview on the MSG Network, Knicks’ president Steve Mills was asked whether or not Porzingis will play this season.

“No we don’t know yet. Kristaps has made good progress. We feel good from a medical perspective. The MRI was a good MRI,” said Mills.
