A report came out on Wednesday that stated that Los Angeles Clippers’ head coach Doc Rivers would be interested in becoming the New York Knicks next head coach if the move on from Jeff Hornacek this summer.
During Thursday’s First Take, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith stated the best move for the Knicks would be to avid Rivers and instead hire Mark Jackson.

In the video above, Smith said that he doesn’t believe that Rivers would be a good fit because he doesn’t think Rivers could co-exist with Steve Mills and Scott Perry.
