New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony recently made the news with a comment about his career.
Anthony appears to be unworried about his legacy if he’s unable to finish his career with a championship. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Anthony stated:
“I can look back on it when my career is over — if I don’t have an NBA championship ring — and say I had a great career.”
Prominent sports analyst Stephen A. Smith seemed to take issue with that comment.

On ESPN First Take, Smith said: “In what damn world could you possibly say such a thing?
