The Knicks are expected to finalize an agreement with free-agent guard Tony Wroten later this week, according to league sources.
The deal is expected to be for two seasons at the veteran’s minimum with the 2016-17 portion of the contract not fully guaranteed, sources say. The contract terms were still being finalized as of Monday afternoon.
New York has an open roster spot so the club will not need to make a corresponding move to create space for Wroten. But it is unclear if Wroten, who is coming off of an injury, will be able to play immediately for New York once he joins the team.
