Tonight, the New York Knicks returned to Indiana to challenge the Pacers in Game Six of the 2024 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Pacers had been undefeated at home this postseason. So they would remain after this contest.
In the first quarter, Deuce McBride’s 11-point performance, including three straight three-pointers, helped the Knicks secure a 30-29 advantage. In the second quarter, the Pacers’ strong defense, a 17-2 run, and poor Knicks’ free throw shooting resulted in a 61-51 halftime lead for Indiana. Sometime during the first half, Josh Hart suffered an abdominal injury that would remove him from the game.
