The accuser in the Derrick Rose rape case broke down on the witness stand Thursday while recounting how she felt drugged ahead of the alleged attack by the Knicks point guard and two pals.
“I just felt like I was less in control. I was more goofy, like…I couldn’t control myself,” she told jurors in Los Angeles federal court.
Asked by her lawyer, Waukeen McCoy, if she thought she got slipped a Mickey, the woman replied, “Yes. I never felt like that before. I never blacked out before.”
Rose — who entered the courtroom nearly two hours late, while the woman was already testifying — looked up from the defense table as she began crying when asked about getting into a cab with a female friend outside his Beverly Hills home.
