Robin Lopez is closer to becoming New York's center, but he's not coming cheap.

The 27-year-old is finalizing a four-year, $54 million deal with the Knicks, reported Yahoo! Sports, an agreement that can only be disrupted if DeAndre Jordan improbably chooses New York over the Clippers, Mavs and Lakers.

The agreement would leave the Knicks with roughly $7.5 million remaining in cap room to navigate the remainder of free agency. They are schedule to meet Houston forward Corey Brewer today in L.A.
