The New York Knicks are waiving forward Lance Thomas, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Thomas would have been owed $7,583,975 in 2019-20, the last season of the four-year, $27-million deal he signed back in 2016.
Lance didn’t have a particularly good season in 2018-19, even by his standards. Once counted on to at least sink the occasional triple, his three-point percentage plummeted to 27.8%. Believe it or not, it had been above 40% the previous three seasons.
Gosh, has Thomas really been a Knick that long? Indeed he has.
