REPORT: Rokas Jokubaitis in “advanced talks” with Maccabi Tel Aviv

For several summers now, Knicks fans have gotten excited over the prospect of adding Rokas Jokubaitis to their team. A young, crafty point guard with range and the ability to run an offense, he seemed like an ideal candidate to slot in behind Jalen Brunson as the team’s main backup point guard. Those hopes grew even larger earlier when Jokubaitis joined the Knicks’ Summer League for the second year this July and both the team and him performed admirably.

The Lithuania international, just 23 years old, averaged 9.8 PPG and 3.8A PG in just 19 MPG while shooting an efficient 57.
