Several Madison Square Garden employees were fired recently for violating company policy by re-selling New York Knicks and New York Rangers tickets on the secondary market for a profit, according to the New York Post.
An MSG spokesperson did not disclose details of the firings but confirmed that employees had been terminated.
"It was uncovered through an internal investigation that a small handful of employees were breaking company policies and, as a result, they were relieved of their responsibilities," an MSG spokesperson said.
"As this is an employee matter, MSG will have no additional comment.
