While many of us have looked ahead to the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft searching for the next potential Knick, we may have to hold the brakes and take a step back. Despite some fans wanting the team to use its pair of first-round picks to nab a couple of young cost-controlled players that they can both play a bit and develop next season, there are reports, per Yahoo Sports, that New York is “looking to move” both the 24th and 25th picks of the upcoming draft. And ESPN’s latest mock draft also echoed the sentiment as well with Jeremy Woo saying, “The Knicks are understandably looking into trade scenarios involving their two picks in the 20s as they work to prolong their current competitive window.
