The last time the New York Knicks had an Argentinian point guard, they made it to the second round of the playoffs.
It may come full circle this season as they are reportedly eyeing to bring in Argentinian Luca Vildoza, the 2020 ACB Finals MVP.
The Knicks (34-28) currently sit at fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with 10 games left in their schedule.
Vildoza will be following the footsteps of Pablo Prigioni, who quarterbacked the last Knicks team that reached the playoffs in the 2012-13 season.
But unlike Progrioni who came to New York in the twilight of his career, Vildoza is just entering his prime years.
