It became apparent once the New York Knicks traded for point guard Dennis Smith Jr. prior to this season’s deadline that Frank Ntilikina’s time with the club could be over.
Marc Berman of the NY Post reported on Thursday that the Knicks will look to trade Ntilikina on draft night in hopes of landing a first round pick if they’re unable to use him to get Anthony Davis.
According to a source, Knicks brass will explore their options on draft night with Ntilikina. Obviously, Ntilikina is available in any Anthony Davis package, but if the Knicks can acquire an extra first-round pick for him, they would consider it.
