While the Knicks seem to have finally cooled off on the idea of bringing Donovan Mitchell to New York, it’s been a well-known fact that they are still in search of another star, or at the very least, a high-impact starter. Names like Paul George, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Devin Booker have been floated around as possible targets. But there’s another player that the team has coveted for some time now, and that is Mikal Bridges of the crosstown rival, Brooklyn Nets. Bridges would fit in seamlessly on a Knicks team that already rosters three former Villanova Wildcat teammates, and the move would also make plenty of sense on the court.
