Today The Athletic reported that Jamal Crawford, the former NBA star known for his two-decade playing career, will serve as a game analyst for about 10 New York Knicks games this season. He will join the MSG Network broadcast team alongside lead announcer Mike Breen for most telecasts. While MSG offered no comment, we can assume that Jamal will fill in on Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s off nights.
Crawford’s insight as a former Knickerbocker should bring something special to the commentary team.
In 2000, the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Crawford 8th and promptly traded him to the Chicago Bulls.
