With the New York Knicks being linked to possibly signing Kevin Durant next summer, I mentioned on Monday that they’ll need more than the Golden State Warriors star if they’re going to contend for a title.
Well, maybe they can get another star big man.
Chris Sheridan of Get More Sports reported on Monday that New Orleans Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis wouldn’t mind playing for the Knicks, Boson Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers or Los Angeles Lakers if he’s unable to work something out with the Pelicans.
A source with intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the NBA told Get More Sports that Davis is considering five teams in the near and distant future: The Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Pelicans, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers.
