As the year 2019 dawned, it was easy to feel a sense of optimism if you were a Knicks fan and a tank enthusiast. New York’s losing streak hit eight games on New Year’s Day, and they were tied for second in the overall tank rankings. The Knicks were playing like the worst team in the league, and it appeared to be only a matter of time until the Knicks took their rightful place on the road to Zion (Williamson).
