George Chios, a New York native, and die-hard Knicks fans since the age of 10 started collecting trading cards at the age of 12. It was only natural that he represented the orange and blue as the focal point of his card collection. He still remembers to this day his first ever pack of 1991-92 Upper Deck. Back then, there were very seldomly issued autographed cards, and memorabilia cards were still about 6 years away. Instead, for a couple bucks a pack, you were given 12 cards, usually all base, with the high hopes of landing a rare foil or holographic insert at pretty high odds.
