While Jericho Sims is one of the last names you think of on this Knicks’ roster, he’s an interesting player. The former Texas Longhorn is an undersized center at 6’9”, which hurts him offensively because he lacks the ability to create his own shot, make plays for others consistently, or hit a jump shot. But what Sims can do is jump with anyone in the league, try hard, do the little things, and play a very unselfish brand of basketball. Given Sims’ good rebounding and solid rim protection skills, I’d argue that he’s one of the better third-string centers in the league.
