Few — if any — in the media have been able to decipher why the Knicks possibly would be interested in trading Kristaps Porzingis. Enter Charley Rosen.
The FanRag Sports basketball columnist and former Phil Jackson assistant coach for the Albany Patroons in the CBA — who has been derided as a channel for Jackson’s media messages — listed the pros and cons of trading away Porzingis this week. It took 212 words to explain the “why he shouldn’t be traded” and 474 to break down the “why he should.” Aside from the basketball portion of the analysis, Rosen took some jabs at Porzingis and his brother, Janis, who represent the Latvian phenom.
