Charley Rosen, Phil Jackson’s longtime confidant, is in an uproar over LeBron James’ statment he has lost respect for the Zen Master.
Rosen said Jackson deserves the benefit of the doubt and is shocked James became so enraged about him using “posse’’ to describe the Cavaliers star’s management team. Rosen said political correctness has gone too far.
Rosen, who has chronicled Jackson’s first two seasons in New York in an online diary for Fanrag.com, huddled with Jackson the day of the ESPN interview 24 hours after Election Day. Jackson was quoted as saying James and his handlers required “special treatment.
