The New York Knicks are looking for some mojo at the NBA Draft lottery this year. Perhaps Patrick Ewing can bring the luck the Knicks will need to cash in on their 14% chance at the first overall pick.
The team announced that Ewing would represent the orange and blue on May 14 in Chicago for the lottery. In a statement issued by the team, president Steve Mills mentioned Ewing’s connection to the history of the organization.
“Patrick is a huge part of our team’s history and we’re thrilled to have number 33 represent the franchise at this year’s draft lottery,” said Mills.
