Today, the United States celebrates its 248th birthday. Later this month, a team of 12 of the best basketball players the country has to offer will head to Paris to take home another gold medal at the Olympics. Now, unfortunately, there was one big snub of a certain Knicks point guard, however he likely would’ve been replaced after he fractured his hand in Game 7 against Indiana. The 2024 Olympics will now mark the second consecutive Olympics without an active New York Knick on team USA. In fact, unless Lithuania qualifies, there won’t be a single Knick at the Olympics this year.
