In the first of what has become a popular event at the Garden, the Knicks welcomed back some of the franchise’s biggest stars on Legends Night. Dick McGuire was given the Legacy Award, which has since been renamed the Dick McGuire Award. Also honored were the top Knicks players from each decade of the team’s existence: Carl Braun (1940s), Richie Guerin (1950s), Willis Reed (1960s), Walt Frazier (1970s), Bernard King (1980s) and Patrick Ewing (1990s).
