After falling behind by 15 on the second night of a back-to-back, the Knicks battled to put themselves in position to steal a win tonight in Boston. Carmelo Anthony (29 points, 10 rebounds) buried a 3 to cut the Celtics' lead to five with 5:30 remaining, but he and Kristaps Porzingis (16 points, 12 rebounds) combined to shoot 2 for 8 the rest of the way in a 100-91 loss.
Isaiah Thomas shot 6 for 18, but the 5-foot-9 guard scored nine of his 21 points in the fourth quarter and corralled two key offensive rebounds to help seal victory.
