How It Happened:
Once again, the Knicks crawled out from a significant deficit to upend their opponent at Madison Square Garden. Tonight’s victim was the Charlotte Hornets as New York battled back from nine points down in the fourth quarter to secure its third straight win, 118-113. The Hornets came out swinging with 41 first quarter points and a lead that reached 15 points. However, the Knicks second unit provided a spark during a 14-2 run over four minutes in the fourth period. The New York spurt was punctuated by a Kristaps Porzingis bucket from downtown at the top of the arc to push the home team’s lead to 114-111.
