Notre Dame’s Demetrius Jackson enters the NCAA Tournament in a funk, but he also comes to Brooklyn as the most talented and exciting player at Barclays Center.
The 6-foot-1 junior point guard has inherited the Irish backcourt from Knicks rookie Jerian Grant and run with it. Jackson has been tabbed by Draftexpress.com as the 11th pick in this June’s NBA draft, with Hoopshype.com pegging him 17th. Wherever he lands, Brooklyn fans get to see him take on 11th-seeded Michigan at 9:40 p.m. in the East Region.
The last time much of the country saw Notre Dame, it was dropping a 68-66 Elite Eight heartbreaker to No.
