Notes after Monday’s historic win over the Nuggets

Following a disheartening defeat in Utah, where it seemed like nothing could go down, the Knicks nearly went wire-to-wire against a Denver Nuggets team only missing Aaron Gordon last night, scoring 145 points in regulation.

The win saw a number of records, personal bests, and flat-out interesting stat lines and trends. There were multiple sub-plots within the game.

Starting with one Ogugua Anunoby, who dropped a career-high 40 points. Considering he wasn’t a scorer in college, this is the most he’s scored in any capacity since his days in high school in Jefferson City, Missouri.
