New York Knicks: Willy Hernangomez weighs in on Enes Kanter

One of the rational fears to emerge from the Carmelo Anthony trade was that Willy Hernangomez had become collateral damage. The theory existed that his minutes could be limited and his progress stunted by the arrival of big man Enes Kanter.

During an interview at media day, however, Hernangomez put those concerns to rest with a fair evaluation of the flexibility that head coach Jeff Hornacek will possess.

The acquisition of Kanter is one that projects to provide the Knicks with significant production from the center position. He averaged 14.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in just 21.
