From start to finish, the New York Knicks had little, if any, momentum in the 2018-19 season. A rough 82-game stretch was always expected, but not at a 17-65 pace that included an 18-game losing streak, injuries and an in-season trade changed everything.
New York’s final record created one of the worst seasons in franchise history. It teased a historic finish for a while, until defeating the Chicago Bulls twice and the Washington Wizards once saved head coach David Fizdale and Co. from greater trouble.
There have been a few bad years in Knicks history, to say the least.
