The 2019-20 NBA season is near for the New York Knicks as they look to overcome a 17-65 record, that placed them at the bottom of the NBA standings. The first overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft did not result, either, but the Knicks still selected RJ Barrett with the No. 3 pick in June.
Among the other offseason transactions, the Knicks signed Julius Randle, Marcus Morris and Bobby Portis in free agency, among others. These players are expected to take a main role with the team and potentially contribute to a more competitive squad.
