The New York Knicks have a chance to expedite the rebuild during the next 12 calendar months. With Kristaps Porzingis sidelined by a severe knee injury, the Knicks can develop the players who will complement him and establish the culture that he’ll be tasked with leading.
In order to do so, however, there may be a period during which New York tanks—a polarizing truth considering the recent history of the franchise.
